Greek Tech Startups attract € 554 million in investment in 2024.

In 2024, Greek startups raised a total of € 554 million in capital, with over 70% coming from foreign investors. US investors contributed 36%; European investors contributed 24%; and British investors accounted for 6% of total funding. Greek investors made up 25% of the total investment.
Major American corporations, including Cadence Design Systems and Intel, have entered the Greek market by acquiring local tech firms. China's Alibaba and the NATO Innovation Fund have invested in Greek startups, such as iCOMAT, which specializes in defense and security technologies.
The growing collaboration between local and international venture capital funds is fueling the attraction of tech investments to Greece, reflecting Greece's expanding presence.
