TUI Russia promises 300,000 Tourists in 2021
According to Greek Travel Pages, TUI Russia says it will bring 300,000 Russian tourists to Greece in 2021.

Taras Demura, General Manager of TUI Russia, mentioned to the Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis that Greece is in high demand in Russia as a tourism destination. He also said that TUI Russia expects to send some 300,000 Russian tourists to Greece if travel opens without restrictions in the middle of May 2021.
According to Greek Travel Pages, TUI Russia plans to launch the following charter flights as soon as both countries lift the flight restrictions:
to Crete from Moscow and Yekaterinburg;
to Corfu from Moscow, Rostov-on and Kazan.
TUI Russia’s programme for Greece will also include scheduled flights to Athens and travel packages for resorts in:
Halkidiki
Peloponnese
Zakynthos
Santorini.
Greek Travel Pages writes that Greece has announced it will officially open for tourism on 14 May 2021. The Greek Minister of Tourism stated that Greece’s restart plan includes the gradual lifting of restrictions for specific countries like Russia.
According to Greek Travel Pages, The Greek Minister of Tourism said that travelers from Russia would be able to visit Greece without restrictions (quarantine-free) as long as they have a proof of:
The Minister mentioned that Greece will also accept travelers who have been vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
