The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S. A. recruiting experts for a Project Preparation Fund

Established in 2011, the Hellenic Asset Development Fund promotes and implements the Hellenic Republic’s privatisation programme. Its vision is to support GDP growth and transition to a new economic model. HRADF executes the Asset Development Plan following the agreement between the Hellenic Republic and the following institutions: ECB, ESM, European Commission and IMF. The asset base of the HRADF consists of assets in the following sectors:


  • Infrastructure

  • Energy

  • Real-estate.


Since the establishment, HRADF has transferred more than 50 assets/companies to the private sector’s stewardship.


HRADF has set up the Project Preparation Facility. The unit aims to serve the Hellenic Republic and to assist in developing a number of strategic projects in the broader infrastructure sector.

Legal Counsel Recruitment


Requirements for the candidate:

  • A minimum of seven years' proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a business environment;

  • Relevant academic background in graduate or postgraduate level;

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law (indicatively Commercial/Administrative/Corporate/Finance Law/Public Law) and procedures;

  • Ability to provide accurate advice to executives in a timely manner in a variety of legal topics;

  • Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies;

  • Research and evaluate various risk factors and offer proactive advice on potential legal issues;

  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authority etc.) building relations of trust;

  • Draft agreements, contracts and other legal documents;

  • Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders;

  • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation;

  • Strong negotiation skills;

  • Excellent command of Greek and English language;

  • Familiarity with HRADF’s procedures would be desirable;

  • Very strong sense of integrity and team spirit.


Civil Engineers & Environmental Specialists


HRADF is looking for experienced, driven Civil Engineers and Environmental specialists with a wealth of industry knowledge, critical thinkers and with a sound knowledge to identify and solve engineering and environmental problems. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with a diverse group of professionals working on one project.


Requirements for the candidate:

  • A minimum of five years' industry knowledge is strongly desired;

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Studies or related field;

  • Engineers should be registered at Technical Chamber of Greece;

  • Knowledge of the environmental legislation (basic and supplementary) e.g. Waste, water management;

  • Proven experience in conducting environmental assessment of infrastructure projects;

  • Specific environmental software capabilities are desired (e.g. ARC GIS, AUTOCAD);

  • Environmental and social appraisal of proposed projects and assessment in terms of environmental and social risks would be desired;

  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis in keeping strict timetables, coordinating teams, anticipating issues, coming up with solutions;

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design;

  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet strict deadlines, set and re-adjust priorities as required, adapt in volatile conditions;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and presentation skills

  • Ability to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced team;

  • Actively managing stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of the Privatisation Programme;

  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement;

  • Aptitude to solve problems quickly with advanced conflict resolution skills;

  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met;

  • Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project;

  • Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time;

  • Excellent command of Greek and English language;

  • Very strong sense of integrity and team spirit.

Financial Professionals


Requirements for the candidate:

  • A minimum of seven years' relevant experience in banking or other financial services;

  • Relevant academic background in graduate or postgraduate level;

  • Good understanding of financial models and financial statements of listed or non-listed companies;

  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis in keeping strict timetables, coordinating teams, anticipating issues, coming up with solutions;

  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet strict deadlines, set and re-adjust priorities as required, adapt in volatile conditions;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and presentation skills;

  • Ability to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced team;

  • Actively managing stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of the Privatisation Programme;

  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement;

  • Strong negotiation skills;

  • Excellent command of Greek and English language;

  • Familiarity with HRADF's procedures would be desirable;
