Northern Greece Road Project

GEK TERNA has been named the provisional contractor for two major road projects in Northern Greece, with a combined estimated contract value of € 560 million. The two projects are expected to have a construction period of three years, followed by 27 years of operation.

The projects, covering the Thessaloniki–Edessa and Drama–Amphipolis roads, will be developed under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreements. GEK TERNA will be responsible for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the roads.

The investment forms part of Greece’s broader programme to modernise its transport infrastructure and improve connectivity across Northern Greece. The projects are expected to support regional economic activity while creating opportunities for construction, infrastructure and related services.
