The company has inaugurated a new production facility in Koropi, employing five local staff members. Alicia Bots sources 80% of its components from Greek suppliers and has sold 82 robots globally, with 40% of its clientele based in Greece and Europe.
Founded in 2020, Alicia Bots is a robotics company that develops automated tools for ship maintenance. Its main focus is robotic hull cleaning, which helps reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions. By offering smart, cost-effective solutions, Alicia Bots aims to make shipping more efficient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.
The decision to establish operations in Greece was influenced by the country's skilled maritime workforce, cost-effectiveness, and proximity to clients. This expansion puts the company in a key shipping location.
