Hellenic Chamber of Hotels launches first Greek accelerator for Tourism and Hospitality Innovation


The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) launched CapsuleT, the first Greek accelerator exclusive to the tourism and hospitality sectors of Greece.

CapsuleT aims to strengthen and support innovative ventures the tourism sector. It aims to strengthen the innovation ecosystem by providing access to information, education, visibility and networking.

Participants will be able to meet tourism industry experts and investors in order to collaborate on business opportunities which will in turn have a positive impact on the Greek start-up ecosystem and the tourism sector.

The accelerator will be located in Kallithea. It will be free to use by start-ups, and will run twice a year for a 3-month period. The first cycle is expected to operate from September to November 2019 and aims to educate over 300 young participants.

Apart from workshops and mentoring sessions, the programme will organise local events, pitching opportunities, meetups, industry site visits and networking activities.

The programme is free of charge and does not require and equity grant. Further information on CapsuleT and application deadlines can be found here.
